Seasoned Firewood
Sold by the bobcat scoop (click add to cart, then adjust quantities at checkout). Two bobcat scoops is equivalent to a well mounded 6×4 trailer.
We can fit up to 10 scoops of wood per delivery!
Important information:
Split By Hand. All timber is hand split, and every piece is unique. While we aim to keep most pieces around the size of a bread loaf, variation is expected. If you require uniform pieces, we offer hand- selected wood at $2.00 per piece (in store only).
Clean handling. Our firewood is stored on a concrete slab, not on bare ground. As a result, our bobcat cannot pick up dirt during loading.
Fine and Wood Shards. Throughout the firewood process, from harvesting to splitting to loading, small wood shards and fines naturally break off and mix with the wood. This is not dirt, although they may appear dark when wet. We do not screen our firewood; every scoop will include some fines. When dry, these fines are excellent for kindling and fire starting.
Outdoor Storage. All of our firewood is stored outdoors, not undercover. If it has rained recently, it will likely be wet. To avoid wet wood, please plan your purchase or delivery ahead of wet weather.
All firewood for sale is seasoned; we do not sell unseasoned fire firewood as it is illegal in our region. Our wood is ready to burn, subject to weather exposure (as stated above).
